SONIC STEP SISTERS – The Finale! @ Otto Lounge, Lan Kwai Fong, HK (Friday, 19th March/ 8pm-2am)
Yup! Cheers & peace to all you funksters, in shark costumes, fairy dress and zombie attire who stepped it up in great fashion last Friday. (Strange things you wear to work/uni!!!) The flying sets by YAO & Manila girl Liquid A were oozing soul and cool, as you know.
Just like the week before, some of you gangstas just didn’t want to leave when the music stopped… but THAT’S WHY we start at 8pm ~ simply come down earlier for the next one! Here – make this your mantra for the week “must go to SSS early – must enjoy the FULL SONIC STEP SISTERS line-up” (now repeat on loop).
Besides… be reminded that HAPPY HOUR runs until 11pm – yes, that’s 3 hours of drinks specials. And divine Egyptian Mezze and Italian Pizza, plus Shisha pipes are on the menu also. â¤
It’s the grand March finale ~ SSSee you on the dance floor this Friday.
Sonicly yours,
Electronic Mistressp.s. It’s not kool to walk-in to our FREE event with a 7-11 beer in hand. Come on – grab a drink from the bar at least! Means I can pay my DJs —> and you can continue to vibe out to their wicked beats.

His passion is Afro-Cuban music, and he’s studied with many of the greats: In New York with George Delgado (Eddie Palmieri’s conguero), Jose Madera (Tito Puente’s longtime Musical Director) and Johnny Almendra (Mongo Santamaria); in Cuba with the legendary Changuito (Los Van Van) and Santiago’s Ballet Cutumba.
