New Juke/Footwork mix: Kongkast # 212 – feat. FRANJAZZCO (Footwork Frenzy, Disko404, World Wide Juke / Vienna, Austria)
It has been another great year for Kongkast, hosting exclusive mixes from some of our favourite producers, labels, and Djs such as Young Ax, Mikal, Flight, Alley Cat, Detail, Demand Recording’s Keen, to some of the upcoming names from Asia, Europe and America such as Rebearth, TASO, Brad Pitch, Brian Brainstorm, Bukez Finezt and loads more.
2013 has been one of those years where we experimented with different genres of music on our podcast, from our regular favourite Drum & Bass to some of our new found love of Juke and Footwork in the last few years. We have always displayed a full spectrum of music, but have always remained true that bass will always be the foremost important thing in our podcast.
We hope you have enjoyed the ride on Kongkast as much as we did this year, and we at Kongkretebass Kongkast wish you all a wonderful start to 2014, may all your wishes comes true, and some of the best releases and mixes to be heard in the coming year!
As always, we will be taking a small break from podcasting during the Chinese New Year period and we will be off air for the month of February, but we will be back with more exclusive mixes starting in March 2014. But don’t forget to keep checking back after the New Year, we’re back first week of January with a massive mix to start 2014!
Best Wishes for a Wonderful and Prosperous 2014 !

More info about FRANJAZZCO:
As he tends to keep things low and is not too keen on any sort of hype shit, you might not have recognized him yet – though, Franjazzco (formerly known as Franz „Jazzin“ Otto) has definitely been one of the most passionate and enthusiastic players in Vienna’s underground dance music scene within the last decade.
Franjazzco’s been doing his thing on the ones and twos since way back in 1995. Besides being a DJ, the past has also seen him as event promoter, radio host, editor and recently especially as a producer. Whilst Franjazzco covers a wide range of musical genres as a DJ, ranging from Jazz, Funk and Hip Hop to House, Techno and various styles of Bass music, he’s mostly dedicating his productions to Chicago’s sound of Juke and Footwork.
His tracks have recently been released on Disko404 records and the World Wide Juke compilations and earned massive feedback by the likes of DJ Rashad, Machinedrum, Distal, Chrissy Murderbot or RP Boo. Further releases and his own label Footwork Frenzy are about to come in the near future.
