About Electronic Mistress (Kongkretebass, Dubstep Division Recordings/ HK):

Electronic Mistress is one half of Hong Kong premiere urban events crew, Kongkretebass, alongside partner-in-crime DJ Wash. Together they have been responsible for organizing, promoting and DJing at numerous successful dnb and dubstep music events in Hong Kong since 2005.
Kongkretebass is also host to Asia’s largest drum & bass podcast, with several free DJ mix-sets airing to the World every month for the past 3 years.

Since the uprising of Kongkretebass, Electronic Mistress has undoubtedly established herself as one of the core active female DJs and driving forces in the Hong Kong Drum and Bass scene. Having supported and promoted world-stage artists including: Lynx, Big Bud, Shimon, Chris.Su & Jade, Spectrasoul, Nu:tone, A-Sides, as well as A.L.F, Foreign Dub, Shawn Livewire, DMZ, Kiat, Dubwise, Siesta, Greg G & Truth.

Electronic Mistress picked up Djing in late 2007 to be able to open for her drum and bass events. But it was not long before a new-found love for the dubstep genre has driven her to take up DJing more seriously. She instantly started collecting dubstep-vinyls as well as listening to countless mixes and influential radio shows…

While keeping busy with promotions for her own crew, she continues developing her skills by spreading the bass-heavy sound throughout the region with a growing number of guest Dj appearances in China, Thailand and on home turf in Hong Kong.

In a natural transition, Electronic Mistress has recently progressed from Deejaying to first steps in studio production.

The digital release of her first remix competition project for German label Dubstep Division Recordings is now available in online stores. Check it out!
