None other than the Dubstep OG in Asia – N1D (Ecstatic Bass, Macau)
N1D has been one of Hong Kong and Macau’s leading figures in the Dubstep genre since as long as we can remember. Known for his deep rolling sounds behind the controls, he is a master in creating some of the best rolling sets of Dubstep. N1D’s set has always been an education for those who are in the know. From banging old-school Dubstep with the Heavy Hong Kong crew, to co-founding the Ecstatic Bass Macau crew to explore post-Dubstep sounds, N1D has established himself as a unique figure in the Hong Kong, Macau, and China underground club music scene.
Began his journey in 2008 and founded Ecstatic Bass with DJ Budball in 2013. N1D is committed to sharing his passion for darker and more experimental bass-driven sounds with clubbers and ravers.
Through his routine of producing original material in the studio and blending genres at the DJ booth, N1D has showcased the strength of the Macau sound. He is undoubtedly one of the originators of Bass music in South China.
