This week on Kongkast, one of our favourite DJs from our previous life in Hong Kong – Yauma (Bang Gong Soundsystem / Beijing, China). Since the early Kongkretebass days in Hong Kong, Yauma has been one of our OG friends and family. Playing alongside our local shows, as well as supporting other Bass music crew such as HeavyHK.
Yauma’s diverse sounds has always been is game, and it really shows on this exclusive mix for Kongkast. Currently based in Beijing China, Yauma is part of a collective called “Bang Gang Soundsystem” – an event organisation founded to purely rock the town and have a good time.
It is exactly this philosophy of “just having fun” with music we love, is why we all always support underground DJs such as Yauma and his crew!
