Yes, yes – Chinese New Year is approaching. An early ‘Happy Year Of The Tiger’ shout out to all Kongkast followers!

This week’s Kongkast #109 mix, is an absolute treat for tech lovers and not for the faint-hearted! We are very excited to introduce to you one of our favorite tech producers – JADE – with an exclusive mix all the way from Budapest, Hungary.

Hong Kong junglists have had the pleasure to witness Jade alongside Chris Su in Hong Kong, back in August 2008. Since then, Jade’s music and deejaying career has only gone up and UP!

Jade is currently on tour in Australia promoting his new album “The Venom” , which was released on Citrus Recordings late last year. The LP includes remixes and collaborations with some of the scenes heavy hitters including Axiom, Matt-U, Rymetyme, Mindscape, Icicle, and Phace while also including Jades own remix of “Black Sun Empires” immense track, “Stasis”.

A majestic roar of thanks goes to JADE for bringing his exclusive selection to this week’s KONGKAST.

Deep, Minimal, Techno, Progressive and Future – That’s how we have decided to describe this mix.

This week on Kongkast, we bring to you a future thinker from Brisbane, Australia – DJ Model T.

Model T is from the origins of the most southern state of Australia – Hobart, Tasmania.  Since relocating to Brisbane, he has supported some of the most respected nights such as Rudebwoyz, Junglettes, UDP and Wax Assassins, as well as supporting international artists such as Andy C, GrooveRider, DJ Friction & SP:MC, Pendulum, ShyFX, Teebee, Goldie & MC Lowqui to name a few.

This year, Model T is relocating to Kuala Lumpur to take up studies at Monash University, also taking his deejaying career to the next level in Asia, we have no doubt this future thinker will be one of the high flyers in the S.E.A.

Kongkast Rollin’ thru 2010!

YES! we’re going MAD! MADCAP!
This week on Kongkast, we bring you one of the head honchos of  “Uncertified Music / UK” – Madcap (Uncertified Music, Renegade Recordings, Fokuz Recordings, Utopia Music, Good Looking / UK)

Having started mixing when he was at the age of 11, and promoting events in Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire in the early 1990’s, Madcap have spent the last 18 or so years paving the way for what is more history in the making.
With many years of influences from names such as Hype, Ratty, Sy, Slipmatt, Carl Cox & LTJ Bukem, with more recent influences like Marky, Madcap has been releasing his unique sounds on labels such as Renegade Recordings, Side Chain Music, Fokuz Recordings and more.

With forthcoming release on Good Looking Records, Utopia Muisc, Creative Wax and also on his own imprint “Uncertified Music” due for 2010, as well as various J-Tek labels, Madcap has a busy year ahead.
