As part of Impulse Basskultur, alllone and Impulse Basskultur collaborated with HNG Picnics, Blasted, Hityawitthat and Drums at Work to play the

whole Void Club. Where Breakage and Dub Phizix were part of the headline for the event.

With forthcoming events at Giri in Neukölln/berlin on 23.05.2026, then 30.05.2026 at Drugstore Berlin. With their own Impulse Basskultur event happening on the 27.06.2026 with Noxsnug aka Gunston from France. Him and his crew is busy kicking things off for the summer in Berlin! Always good to see!

Since the debut EP “///” in 2017, alllone has continued exploring the intersection of heavy bass, broken rhythms and harmonic depth.
Emerging from Graz’s underground hardcore and breakcore scene, the project developed a distinctive take on bass music, blending distorted textures with melodic elements. alllone has released music on labels such as Potent Funk, Aufect, Zenarchy and Simply Deep. Wash and Brad Pitch makes a return to Muti Music as remixers featured on this debut on Muti Music from Sascha Seewald.

It has been 13 years since Wash and Brad Pitch released their “Brookyn Ride EP’ on Muti Music based out of San Francisco, and this year, they make a return to label on the remixes duties for Sascha Seewald‘s debut release with his signature Downtempo grooves – Sandman & Remxies.

Sascha Seewald is a producer based in Dresden, Germany. Shaped early on by techno, acid, minimal, trip-hop, and hip-hop, his musical roots lie firmly in electronic and beat-driven culture. Over time, this foundation evolved into a more reduced and atmospheric sound. This release is a combination of the original Seewald sounds, with a blend of ideas and visions of what it could sound like in Brad Pitch and Wash’s sounds.

This week, we welcome a new name to the Kongkast Family.

Having the chance to witness Lilak Mind (chrome!, Gain Control) at Subardo Festival in 2025, I was impressed by her mixing methods and the way she used her music to move the party goers. It was a long time between my last Dubstep event up to that point, and it showed me that there are some real talented and fresh DJs out there doing what they do best, smashing down a dance with pure energy and vibes – Check out her live recording from Subardo Festival here.

Since then, I was able to get in touch with her and learn more about her and her progress in the Dubstep scene. And from there of course, the idea of Kongkast mix was born and here we are. I am super excited that Kongkast is able to showcase her exclusive mix.

Lilak Mind is a DJ rooted in the Darmstadt bass music scene. Her sets focus on the deeper side of dubstep – built around weight, space and careful selection rather than big moments.

Her connection to the genre grew through the chrome! events in Darmstadt, which shaped her approach to playing and listening. She is now part of the chrome! crew and continues to explore the sound through slow builds, low-end pressure and tracks that work on a sound system.
Outside the club she founded Gain Control @gaincontrol_, a FLINTA* focused platform creating space for learning, exchange and visibility in bass music.
Lilak Mind regularly plays club nights and festivals across Germany and continues to develop her sound between dubstep, drum and bass and related bass styles.

This week on Kongkast, I am delighted to have one of my personal all time favourite DJ and Producer out of Hungary – Chris.SU (Fate Recordings, EatBrain).

For those who has attended some of our Kongkretebass parties (2006 – 2012) – would maybe remember that we were lucky enough to have Chris.SU as well as Jade come through Hong Kong and completely smashed up the dance with their sound. It was one of the most memorable party for me, as I could not believe we, as one of a very few Hong Kong Drum & Bass promoters, were seeing two of the Tech DnB heavy weights come through Hong Kong.
Fast forward to more recent 2025, when Kongkast was in the reboot phase, Chris.SU was one of the very first producers to reach out and greeted Kongkast back into the now new generation of Drum & Bass. To have such support from one of the best DJs as well as just an all-round nice guy, we are very lucky to be blessed with this exclusive mix by Chris.SU.

Chris.SU is one of Hungary’s most influential drum & bass DJs and producers. A multiple-time winner of DJ of the Year and Producer of the Year at the annual drumandbass.hu awards, he has been an active force in the scene since the early 2000s.

Over the years he has released on a range of respected labels including DSCI4, Subtitles, Commercial Suicide, Hospital, Renegade Hardware, Critical and Shogun Audio.
Known for his signature blend of tech-driven yet melodic drum & bass, Chris.SU has gained support from major names of the scene such as Andy C, Friction, Ed Rush, Calyx & Teebee, London Elektricity, and Klute, just to name a few.

In 2013, he founded his own imprin FATE Recordings. The label’s debut release, was an instant success, featured on Andy C’s Nightlife 6 and on UKF. His collaboration with State of Mind, Above Earth reached the Beatport Drum & Bass Top 100 of 2014.

His second official music video I’m Fine (Without You) ft. MC Fedora was released in 2020 on his own Youtube channel. Continuing to push his sound forward, Chris.SU remains active with new releases on FATE Recordings and other labels, with ongoing collaborations and remixes.

Lobo is one of those musicians you don’t forget. Having met him many many years ago in Hong Kong and Macau, Lobo is one of the most well-respected musicians in the City of Macau. Having help spread underground, idm, jungle and other genres throughout his music career, as well as being the founder of “4daz-le” – one of Macua’s best known underground music labels.

This week on Kongkast, I am delighted to bring you one of my recently discovered favourite producers (though I am shamefully late on this!). Noise808 emerging from the neon-drenched, high-stakes landscape of the world’s gambling capital – Macau, China.

Since the reboot of Kongkast, I have been looking everywhere for new and exciting artists, whose sound resonates with my own.
The name Noise808 was already known to me many years ago, but it was just before Kongkast took a long hiatus. Since then, Noise808 have definitely progressed further as an artist.

His latest EP – TIME – on his Bandcamp (CLICK HERE) features two stunning Dubstep tracks (Geiger and Dissociated) that is (IMO) worthy of prime time DJ slot.
This studio mix provide by Noise808 is a great show case of what he is capable of doing in the studio, with a wide range of music styles, but keeping in tune with his own unique sounds. With such depth and unique styles, I can only imagine he can get further with time and more heavy releases such as the “Time” Ep.

Having released tracks such as “Haze / Minor Details” on Lunar Records in 2021, Versions recently released a pair of liquid bangers for his first release on Sonic Fiction Recordings. “Feel That” brings that dubby vibe and a wobbly bassline that’ll shake even the sturdiest of sound systems! We have recently been in touch with Energy from Overview Music, as he is passing through Asia to do around of touring, flying the Overview flag. We could not be more excited about this one!

Overview began as a platform for deep, minimal drum and bass. Over the years, it has grown into a full-fledged movement that embraces a broader spectrum of sounds while staying true to its underground roots. A love story 7 years in the making, the Englishman in 2018, together with his co-founder Ollie (sub-antics) wagered there could be a platform and eventually an opening for more underground drum and bass sounds to thrive.

Common Mob is a DJ, producer, and event curator rooted in the realms of bass music and sound system culture. Coming up in the Erzgebirge/Krušné hory region, his early exposure to subculture came via Turbojugend Oberpöbel – first behind the bar, then behind the decks. Shaped by Dresden’s free party and Tekno scene, he co-founded Pamb Sound System and later Subkontra, a collective and festival platform pushing heavyweight sonics from across Europe. His musical explorations lead him to raves, club nights and festivals, always commited to the underground and a raw DIY spirit.

His sets draw from grime, dubstep, electro, 160 and acid-tinged hybrids – bass-heavy, percussive and vocally charged. A member of rap collective Kreis01 and host of shows on Infame Radio and Subtle Radio, Common Mob is driven by the mission to cultivate collective movement through sound.

We’re back this week with one of our favourite DJs in South East Asia. One of the names that you no doubt hear when you ask about Dubstep, Drum & Bass or Bass Music in Asia. Our long time friend DJ Dragon (Dubway, Ukemi Records / Thailand).
Dragon should be no stranger to any of our listeners. One of the pioneers of Bass Music in Thailand, having kick started with Homebass Communications, Dragon has hosted some of the biggest names to date, such as DJ SS, L Double, Goth-Trad. Kode 9, Pinch and lots more.

Dragon continues to innovate and take his sounds to different levels, playing cross genres from eclectic 120bpm bass to hard-hitting frantic Drum & Bass. With his diverse taste in music, he now runs his own Record store – Ukemi Records, which showcases some if his personal favourite music as well as promote the underground music to the masses in Thailand.

Mongkorn Timkul, aka DJ Dragon, has been active in Thailand’s drum and bass scene since the early 2000s. Back then, Dragon – the name he’s known by in the music scene – organized some of Bangkok’s first drum and bass events with his crew Homebass Communications. The collective, comprising DJ Wen and MC Abu, hosted drum and bass pioneers DJ SS, Jon B, L Double, Aphrodite, and Mickey Finn. Dragon and DJ Wen also hosted Homebass – a radio show featuring regular guest DJs from Bangkok. The show was broadcast on Fat Radio 104.5 and is considered to be Thailand’s first electronic music radio show.

In 2008, Dragon started Dubway Sessions, an event series that showcased a broader spectrum of dubwise music. The event featured DJs such as Goth-Trad, Pinch, Kode 9, and Alpha Steppa. In 2018, Dubway Sessions celebrated its 10th anniversary with Deep Medi head honcho Mala. Fast forward to the present day, Dragon is still regarded as a driving force in Bangkok’s underground music scene. On the decks, Dragon continues to innovate and take his sound to new heights. Clubbers can expect Dragon to rock everything from eclectic 120 bpm bass beats to hard-hitting, frantic drum and bass. Dragon can be seen gracing the decks at Bangkok’s top underground venues like Beam, Rover, and De Commune. Dragon also headlined Boiler Room at the Mahorasop festival in 2022.

DJ Munk has been DJing in the Sydney Drum & Bass scene for over 20 years, growing up on a wide range of musical taste from pop, rock & roll, soul, canto pop, 90s R&B & Acid Jazz.
His adult musical journey began in around 1996 with an obsession in Trip Hop with DJ Shadow, DJ Cam & DJ Krush and Mo Wax records and other downtempo vibes.
He would later discover drum & bass when curious to becoming a DJ with decks and a mixer for his 21st birthday through a chance meeting with like minded and aged DJ’s A.L.F. (RIP) & Luke S (DJ Lucian) in the late 90’s where he would begin to learn about this youthful style of music and to dedicate the rest of his lifetime to breakbeats.
He would go onto starting up Airbourne crew (aka ABSF – Airbourne Sonic Fiction) in 2002 pushing drum & bass from the atmospheric styles from the Sunday sessions, to our the harder liquid & tech step Momentum nights, as well as their infamous Old Skool Jungle parties onto the Sydney dancefloors every other month until 2005… Fast Forward to today, munk & the Airbourne crew are still together active in the scene and keeping busy in recent years still holding Old Skool Jungle & Nu Skool Jungle parties at Trocadero room in Enmore and he also involve in the new Sonic Fiction Recordings label.
2025 was a little quiet on the gig front for munk & crew, recharging for big plans for 2026.. follow him on socials to keep up to date on gigs and regular mixes…

This week, we have our first guest mix, and this one is personal.
Sonic Friction Recordings based out of Sydney, Australia, is a new independent Drum & Bass label dedicated to the deep, soulful, and tech-driven side of the genre. Some of the members from the label also ran a very successful crew called “Airbourne”. Some of the original junglist from that crew who first gave me (Wash), my very first DJ booking. I believe, without the encouragement and ever supporting original crew of AirBourne, and now part Sonic Friction Recordings, there would be a good chance even this Kongkast wouldn’t exist today. So it is great to see some of the OGs of Sydney Drum & Bass still rolling out some of the best Drum & Bass south of the equator.

The label showcase is mixed by Ed Gee, full of Dubplates and forthcoming releases from Vice Versa, Versions and Seltay. And for our OG Sydney Junglist listeners out there, the mix includes remixes of “Jubby” by A.L.F (r.i.p my friend) & Vice Versa. This hour of music is really as smooth as you like. Yes, we’re back and rolling out our 002 Kongkast.
Kongkast is back after a busy couple of weeks of organising what’s ahead for our Kongkast listeners, and have we got a treat for you! Within a matter of days, we have already filled our busy schedule for the coming year into late 2026 with some of the best DJs and Artists from around the World. Some of which we have no doubt you will know, but we have also be invited some of the up and coming DJs/Producers from across the World and Spectrum or join us.

Thanks again to all of our Kongkast friends and family, who sent us a warm welcome back into the world of Podcasting! And to all our forthcoming artists who accepted our invitation to do a studio mix, we appreciate your trust in us in hosting your mixes!

This week, Wash is back with a Dubstep mix, picking up where he left off. Music from the archives including – Pinch, DMZ, Kryptic Minds, Mala and Distance, as well as some of the top picks from the recent Dubstep releases including Headspace, Borne, Hamdi. Not forgetting Dubs from our Macau OG – N1D & Canko, Wash and Dresden DJ/Producer Brad Pitch’s “Jester” – which was released on over 14 years ago in 2011, but still sounding fresh as the day it left the studio!

It’s time to go back, to go forward.

It has been a number of years since Kongkretebass has been active in the music world.
But the music never stopped.

Yes, we are as surprised as you are, but we finallllllly are back.
It’s been a busy few years (more like 11 years), both Elemiz and Wash has been away from music for a while with life in general, but it is time that we bring back what we love – Kongkast – which many of our listeners have also asked for over the years to be returned after this short and unannounced hiatius. Thanks you again to those who still until now email or message us on social about Kongkast!

There is no set format at the moment, but we will try our best to bring you what WE love, which is Bass Music of all sorts, as always. Expect a new Kongkast with a twist.
