We have recently been in touch with Energy from Overview Music, as he is passing through Asia to do around of touring, flying the Overview flag. We could not be more excited about this one!
Overview began as a platform for deep, minimal drum and bass. Over the years, it has grown into a full-fledged movement that embraces a broader spectrum of sounds while staying true to its underground roots. A love story 7 years in the making, the Englishman in 2018, together with his co-founder Ollie (sub-antics) wagered there could be a platform and eventually an opening for more underground drum and bass sounds to thrive.

The stories of Peter Piper and Overview Music are inseparable.
A love story 7 years in the making, the Englishman in 2018, together with his co-founder Ollie (sub-antics) wagered there could be a platform and eventually an opening for more underground drum and bass sounds to thrive.
Supporting up and coming talent with the willingness to divert from the mainstream has become a successful philosophy for Overview Head-Honcho. Peter has been hosting the “Overview” podcast, moderating in his iconic, quirky manner, he knows how to navigate you through a selection of freshly curated fresh-off-the-press tunes.
Overview began as a platform for deep, minimal drum and bass. Over the years, it has grown into a full-fledged movement that embraces a broader spectrum of sounds while staying true to its underground roots.

Over the years Peter has also found a musical outlet in his Energy alias, travelling the globe and showcasing Overview’s sound to many corners of the bass music universe. Overview and Peter recently celebrated their 100th release, a two-part series of reinvisionments, portraying some of the label’s most iconic tracks from a fresh perspective. Overview’s success and command of social media attention speak for themselves, the label and its surrounding ventures have become a force to reckon with.
From cheeky Instagram reels to Facebook banter that has the whole scene talking, Peter’s online presence is as dynamic and engaging as his DJ sets.
