This is a special one! I’ve been looking forward to this since it was confirmed some months ago now, when Lobo from our guest band – EVADE, confirmed that they wanted to do a Live Studio Recording Exclusive for Kongkast!
Lobo is one of those musicians you don’t forget. Having met him many many years ago in Hong Kong and Macau, Lobo is one of the most well-respected musicians in the City of Macau. Having help spread underground, idm, jungle and other genres throughout his music career, as well as being the founder of “4daz-le” – one of Macua’s best known underground music labels.
The band – EVADE – Since 2009, they have released a total of 3 albums and 2 EPs under the Macau record label “4daz-le” and the Singapore label “Kitchen. Label”.
EVADE’s music has received widespread acclaim from audiences and media around the world – including a 5-star rating from Norman Records in the UK, a recommended sales album from Tokyo’s Tower Records, high praise from the Japanese music website “ELE-KING” and Taiwan’s “Gigs” magazine, an exclusive interview feature in Hong Kong’s “Milk” magazine, and airplay and recommendations on the UK music magazine “The Wire” radio program.
