The latest Kongkast is here, and this one is special – Since the reboot of Kongkast end of 2025, we promised that Kongkast will be showcasing more other genres outside of what we usually love. As time pass, we sometimes change our likes and dislikes of music. And here, we are no different.
Our latest guest – Sascha Seewald (Muti Music / Dresden, Germany) is one of those people that have caught our attention since we met a number of years ago. His unique style of drums and ways of production was first noticed when Wash heard some of Sascha’s earlier tracks. Since then, the two have worked together in the studio, bouncing off ideas, as well as a special project which consists of Sascha Seewald with Brad Pitch and Wash on remix duties – Check out the release here.
In this studio mix, you will hear some of Sascha’s latest unreleased music, as well as some which are already in circulation. This mix is very smooth and it is just in time for the long and warm European Summer. Many thanks to Sascha for taking the time and sending us this smooth groove!

Sascha Seewald is a German music producer and composer based in Dresden, where he lives and works at the intersection of sound design, atmosphere, and narrative composition. His artistic journey began in the late 1990s with his first encounters in electronic music production, deeply rooted in the computer art subculture known as the demoscene. During this time, alongside his studies in computer science, he developed software synthesizers and audio-visuals, shaping a technical and aesthetic foundation that continues to inform his work today.
By 2004, Seewald began releasing his first independent electronica productions, drawing influence from trip-hop and chillout. These early works already hinted at his affinity for textured soundscapes and immersive listening experiences. After an extended creative phase focused on classical guitar and piano, he returned to electronic music in 2022 with a renewed perspective, and a series of downtempo releases that reflect both technical maturity and emotional depth.
Seewald’s music spans a wide sonic spectrum, increasingly shaped by ambient and cinematic influences. His compositions are characterized by a strong sense of spatial awareness, laid-back rhythms, and atmospheric harmonies. Each track is carefully constructed to unfold over time, often carrying a subtle narrative that invites listeners into a contemplative journey. The result is music that is immersive, thoughtful, and accessible — easy listening with a rich inner world.
