Like so many of us, we have been listening to Drum & Bass for a number of years, and Pete Rann‘s name would have come up at some point of your Drum&Bass music adventure. As a producer, Pete Rann have had great success with release on Good Looking Records, Fokus, Vibes and Strictly Digital and now his own imprint “PeteRann Music”.

Pete Rann’s music have had a big impact on some of the liquid/melodic Drum & Bass being played in early 2000, tunes like “Everyway b/w My Love” released on Fokus and “Zero Gravity b/w Mind Fuel” released on Good Looking Records.

We are very much honoured to have this mix by Pete, as he had played a huge part in our the history of Drum &  Bass for us here at Kongkretebass.
Watch out of more release on his imprint “Pete Rann Music” - The debut entitled `The running man` was released in November 2010 and the second entitled `Run don`t walk` was released in summer 2010.

About Pete Rann:

Hailing from the UK and just outside of London, Pete Rann started out as a DJ back in 1990 and started to produce his own music in the mid 90s, having been bought up on a musical diet of hiphop/electro, Detriot techno, Drum and bass and general electronic music in one form or another.

Pete latched on to the more musical/atmopsheric sounds of d+b in the mid to late 90s. This culiminated in releases on the seminal Good looking records/Looking good records and other subsequent labels of similar style. More recently he has started his own label `Pete Rann music` and has been able to branch out and experiment with other genres within dance music.

Since then, he has released two EPs. The debut entitled `The running man` was released in November 2010 and the second entitled `Run don`t walk` was released in summer 2010.

As a DJ he has performed both in the UK and abroad including various stints around Europe and America.
