This week on Kongkast, one of  Adelaide, Australia’s top deejay / producers – FICTION (Inbound Records / Adelaide , Australia).

As a pioneer of Australia’s drum n bass scene , Fiction began dropping jungle back in 1994, in the last 16 years, he has supported just about every international to grace Australia over the last 16 years, including the likes of Andy C, Grooverider, Fabio, Friction, Bailey, Bukem, Marky, Calibre, Fierce, Noisia, Teebee, Klute and D Bridge just to name a few as well as having played in New Zealand and he is regularly headlining interstate events.

As highly respected deejay, Fiction was  nominated for most popular dnb dj at the Sadma’s and has also made the top ten dj’s (overall) for the “In The Mix “dj poll in his home town of Adelaide.

In 1998 Fiction formed “Inbound” with his close friend filter . Over the last 13 years they have become renowned for hosting some of the most unforgettable drum ‘n’ bass shows in Adelaide, featuring the best of local and international talent, which has become the pinnacle of the scene.

He has supported just about every international to grace Australia over the last 16 years, including the likes of Andy C, Grooverider, Fabio, Friction, Bailey, Bukem, Marky, Calibre, Fierce, Noisia, Teebee, Klute and D Bridge just to name a few as well as having played in New Zealand and he is regularly headlining interstate events.

Their success paved the way for them to open in 2005 what is recognized to be Australia’s only all drum ‘n’ bass record store titled “Inbound drum & bass”. Fiction is also the host of Adelaide’s number one weekly d ‘n’ b radio show “Rollerz” on Fresh fm 92.7 (tune in wednesday nights on www.freshfm.com.au from 8pm acst). His sets are always mixed seamlessly and contain the freshest selection of upfront releases , dubs and his own productions. In the past his music has been released on

Australian label 5158 records , and so far has also seen 4 release’s on an American digital label “One For All Records”. His productions have been played by such artists around the world as SKC , State of Mind , Motive and Klute amongst many others.
