This week on Kongkast – We feature a production mix by one of our favourite artist who is based in Shanghai - Steven Lorenz (Intransik Beats, Rankadank Records / Shanghai, China).
Having heard his release Dubstep releases on Rankadank records, as well as techno release on his imprint “Intransik Beats”, we have been very impressed by Steven Lorenz sounds.
As a young artist who is now based in Shanghai, China, Steven has performed in most of the well known Shanghai Clubs, including a residency in our favourite club in China – The Shelter.
Check out this mix which is full of Steven Lorenz’s own productions as well as tunes from one of Sub-Culture (Shanghai)’s resident – Esia.

About Steven Lorenz:
A Member of the “Intransik Beats†DJ team, more oriented to Aggressive dark style electronics, Steven Lorenz was directly inspired by his own brother. He started producing at the age of 14, a genre ranging from minimal techno, Electro to Dubstep.
By the age of 18, he played in most of Shanghai Clubs (Shelter/ Mao/ Dada/ Shiva/ Node/ … )
Soon, Steven Lorenz was noted by the Shelter crew, he’s now a part of the “Sub-Culture artists†hosting the only and unique Dubstep parties in Shanghai.
In 2011, he was released on Cyborg Crew Records, Anarkick Records, Freitag Limited Records and Techmatiq Records (Techno); Rankadank Records (Dubstep)
Still based in the “China’s money capitalâ€, he won’t leave until his battle comes to a victory: Bring The Underground Music to China.
