New this March! SONIC STEP SISTERS @ Otto Lounge, Hong Kong (Fridays, 5./ 12./ 19. March 2010; 8pm-2am)

Sonic Step Sisters - March 2010

It’s finally here – the year of the Tiger (grrr!), spring (almost!) as well as our new little project: ‘SONIC STEP SISTERS’. A casual evening of social music listening and cosmic groove… hip-shake guaranteed!

Kongkretebass femme fatale Electronic Mistress (aka Elemiz) dreamed up a new event series, inviting along her girls Ves and Asayo to join the core and eagerly make the SONIC STEP SISTERS project blossom.

The 3 ladies combined bring an aural selection of various genre mutating bass music to the floor. Including music that’s so current, fresh and futuristic at the same time, we find it hard to describe and of course some good old funk & dubwise sounds, Jungle, smooth drum and bass & more… So watch out – this one’s different from your usual… take a break from your all-out club night, and simply enjoy a good, tasteful groove – SONIC STEP SISTERS is for you!

The first 3 events…

Will run this coming March (Friday 5th, 12th and 19th). Starting at 8pm – It’s an early Friday evening affair with plenty of very good music, all in a casual setting and in good company. The kicking line-up this March includes 5 special guests along with Elemiz, Asayo and Ves themselves. Street artist XYZ is working on some nice deco for the events!
